Among other important things, Master Classes offer students the following:
- opportunities to perform for one another in a relaxed and informal setting;
- to practice performing before a recital, evaluation, or competition;
- to develop critical listening skills when listening to others, and in turn when listening to their own playing;
- to formulate encouraging and helpful comments for other students;
- to receive encouraging and helpful comments from other students who may have encountered similar challenges;
- to work and interact with other musicians;
- and, to have fun!
